Academics/New Love

I started academics today, it sucks. I have the worst teachers, but the best kids in all my classes. We had homework on the first day! I finished my homework, but I didn't get the 3-ring binders that I needed. I'm screwed, one of my teachers is really strict, I had her last year. She's gonna flip on me because I'm not gonna have a 3-ring binder. Oh well, I'll try to find one around my house. Today breezed by, I'm grateful for that. I was convinced I was going to fall asleep in at least one of my classes. But as of today, I'm going to be a good student. No more failing. I'm going to get my homework done, participate, and try to do anything and everything possible to do the best I possibly can. I know I'm smart, it's just a matter of how much I'm willing to work to show it.

So I've decided that my latest loves are Daphne Willis, Jenny Owen Youngs, gardawind (photographer on flikr.com), and the idea of painting my room. I'd pay for the paint, and I'd get to paint it. I don't rightly know what color I should do though, and I'm wondering if I even should. I'm moving out senior year, so there'd be no point. Plus, if I painted my room I know I'd just want to redo my entire room. I was stuck on colors anyways. My room doesn't get direct sunlight, so the color the walls are now, (purple) make it look dark all the time. I want something to reflect the little bit of sunlight it gets, so I was thinking a light yellow or a beige of some sort. I don't know, I'm only 14, I'm no designer. It'd be cool to be an interior designer though...
