Me

So I lied, this is not me. This is a tiny portion of me, tiny little Stephie, that I think I'd like to share:

Hi, I'm Stephanie. I like being called Stephie, because it was what my brother has called me my whole life. It kind of grew on me. I'm optomistic, because I believe I'm too young not to be. Before you say "Well, you don't know what you're talking about, you're a child." Yes, I'm a child, but I've experienced one of the worst things in life, and it's opened my eyes just a little bit wider. I'm well aware that many of my opinions will change as I mature, thank you. I'm happy almost all the time, and I ignore this high school "drama" that most every other kid is involved in. They're blinded, and are too naive to realize that life doesn't revolve around that one boyfriend, or that one girl talking bad behind their back. I'm up for enjoying life, and appreciating everything. Some people get tired of me quickly because I'm so optomistic, but I suppose most people like it.
Now that we have my continuous optomism out of the way, we can get to the normal stuff. I'm 14, and I'm simple. I don't like things being complicated. I live a simple life, and I like simple people. However, I have some powerful ideas in my opinion. My favorite color is yellow, and I have a very cute goldfish named Apollo. I just got him about a week ago, actually. I live in Connecticut, and most kids call it boring. I think they're just lazy, because I can find tons of stuff to do. I love all kinds of weather, but I don't love some of their aftermaths. My favorite thing to do probably is sing. People have told me I should join a band, or compete in some talent show or whatever, but I don't sing for that. I don't like having to compete at something I'm good at. I sing for me, and no one else. I play piano, but I only play some songs to accompany my singing. I also play acoustic guitar, and very poorly. I'm not being modest. I love to read, because I like to use my imagination. I think people should do that more often. I think peace can be achieved, and I try to achieve it as often as I can, with the littlest of things. I have a boyfriend, his name is Robbie, and I do love him. But my world does not revolve around him. I've been to a lot of places in the US, and a couple places outside the US. My favorite place I have been though, is Topsmead in Litchfield. It's the most beautiful state park I've ever been to. I'd love to go back there sometime, I haven't been there in a couple years. I like music, actually I love music. I don't think it could save my life though, as some people say it can. Music does run some of my life, though. I like old and new stuff, from Frank Sinatra to Julie London to The Beatles to Anna Nalick and to Barry Louis Polisar. My mood affects what kind of music I listen to, and sometimes, my music affects my mood. I don't hate, ever. I think life is too short to waste your time with things like jealousy, attachment, and hate. You have to make the best of what you have. However, you should be able to achieve what you want. I'm a firm believer that life can be what you make it.
I know I'm young, and my ideas may seem foolish, but let me explain the source of my inspiration. My mom died when I was 11, and I realized at that age that life is too short. You should appreciate everything. It's been 3 years since my mom's death, and I'm still as optomistic as ever. People ask me how I remain so positive after something so horrible. I miss my mom more than anything, and I'm miserable that I didn't get to know her better. She's on my mind everyday. Life goes on, but you don't have to move on from the happy memories. Just because something horrible happened, you don't have to erase everything about that, like the person it happened to. You just have to face that there's nothing you could have done, you know? It was destiny. If my mom was still alive, I wouldn't be the person I am today. I wouldn't change who I am for anything.

So that's a tiny portion of me, just thought you could use a little background information.
