I desperately wish that you kids could just see that this high school drama isn't your life. You could all be so much more than you're allowing yourself to be. Who cares if you like Frank Sinatra, or if you sing into a comb while you get ready in the morning? Who cares if you love the color yellow, or if you think that the world could be so much more? Who cares if you want to change the world, and who cares about the way you dress? I desperately wish that all of you could just see that the ones that care don't matter, and the ones that matter don't care. The sad thing is, I know that the kids who read this blog will just call me crazy, and judge me negatively, and they'll still think that high school is the rest of their life. I can't find the words to get through to anyone, and no one will understand!
It's very sad when you want to make people see the way you do, see the bigger picture, to try to help them be so much happier, but you can't find the words to get through to them. It's very sad when all the words you use have all been heard before and will just get tossed away, because they've all been used before.
I guess all I can say is that there's much more to the world than what this place allows you to see. That's what imagination and character and personality are for.
